BRAVO13.ID, Samarinda - Film-film karya Christopher Nolan dan Yorgos Lanthimos mendominasi nominasi Piala Oscar 2024 yang diumumkan oleh AMPAS.
Jakarta - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) telah mengumumkan daftar lengkap nominasi Piala Oscar 2024 pada Selasa (23/1) malam waktu Indonesia. Nominasi yang disampaikan oleh Zazie Beetz dan Jack Quaid itu menampilkan persaingan ketat antara film-film karya Christopher Nolan dan Yorgos Lanthimos.
Oppenheimer, film biopik tentang ilmuwan nuklir Robert Oppenheimer yang diperankan oleh Cillian Murphy, mendominasi dengan meraih 12 nominasi, termasuk di kategori utama, seperti Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan masih banyak lagi.
Begitu pula dengan Poor Things, film adaptasi dari novel karya Alasdair Gray yang dibintangi oleh Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, dan Robert Downey Jr. Film ini mendapatkan 11 nominasi, termasuk di kategori Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan lainnya.
Sementara itu, Barbie, film komedi musikal yang diangkat dari boneka terkenal itu, hanya masuk nominasi Best Picture, Best Original Song, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, dan beberapa kategori teknis. Film ini menjadi fenomena box office tahun ini dengan meraup lebih dari satu miliar dolar AS di seluruh dunia.
Piala Oscar 2024 nantinya dihelat di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, 10 Maret 2024 waktu Amerika. Acara ini akan disiarkan secara langsung oleh ABC dan dapat disaksikan melalui berbagai platform streaming¹.
